Long may you run

Today marked the longest midweek run of my marathon training at 10 miles and it was exhausting. Getting up at 5.45am is hard enough as it is, let alone with the prospect of 10 miles ahead. It was 73 degrees for the run which isn't bad but with 87% humidity I was soaked when I came home. Despite the distance and the heat, it was still a good run at 1:20:16 or an average of 8:01 per mile.
Tomorrow should be even hotter and I've just heard on the weather that Saturday should hit 92 degrees and humid so I'll probably need to be running at 5am for my 20 mile run. After this week the mileage drops off as I taper to the marathon in just over 2 weeks.
