Runner Survives Near-Fatal Car Crash

It's podcast Friday! This week we interviewed Janet Oberholtzer. She has a very inspiring story. In 2004, she was involved in a near-fatal car crash, involving a semi truck. Her legs were pinned during the accident, and she nearly lost them, and her life.

Even though Janet's left leg was almost amputated, she worked through her recovery and was able to walk again. Miraculously, the dedication she had to her recovery allowed her to run four years later.

She started competing in 5ks again, and over time worked back up to half marathons. Janet has been through many trials throughout her recovery. She had multiple surgeries on her leg, and still experiences pain. Her story is so inspiring and in this interview she candidly shares her experience through the trials.
