WalkJogRun Running Routes Launches Android App Project on Kickstarter.com

WalkJogRun seeks to bring most comprehensive running app to the Android platform.

PRLog (Press Release) – Apr 03, 2012 –

WalkJogRun.net launched a Kickstarter Project today aiming to bring their highly acclaimed iPhone app to the Android platform. WalkJogRun hopes to get fully funded by June 2, 2012 in order to release an Android version of the app by August 2012.

The company stated that requests for an Android App have come in by the thousands, and in order to release an Android version, they need some additional funding. The company brainstormed some great incentives to get the app funded, including great merchandise and advertising opportunities. WalkJogRun.net has committed to matching each dollar someone else pledges to the Kickstarter Project, in the form of money, or development hours.

WalkJogRun is set to release an update to their iPhone app on April 16, 2012. This update will make it the most comprehensive running app, and the most accurate GPS tracker for the iPhone. WalkJogRun wishes to take this success to the Android platform so runners, walkers, and cyclists on every mobile device can use the app to reach their goals.

WalkJogRun is looking for a total of $30,000 in funding by June 2, 2012 to help fund the project and make it come to the Android platform.
