In 2002, Christopher Brisley was tragically hit head-on by a car while cycling. He had to endure numerous painful surgeries, and a long recovery. He was forced to put running and training to the side as he focused on recovering from the accident.
In 2005 he founded Take a Challenge, which encourages people to set goals and challenge themselves. Christopher continues to participate in triathlons, marathons, mountain bike challenges, and more despite being diagnosed with a chronic respiratory condition.
In this podcast episode he shares his story and explains how he learned to pick himself up and continue on despite all the bumps he has hit in the road.
