We've partnered with Women's Health to be the mapping provider for their Run 10 Feed 10 event. We're very excited about this partnership and to get WalkJogRun some extra exposure. This is a great event and it is going to help a great cause. Check out the event and sign up to run a 10K in one of their ten cities, or in your own! Their events are in September and October, so over the next few months we'll be sharing more information in blogs and podcasts.
Right now, 16 million children are at risk of going hungry – they don't know where their next meal is coming from. The reality is there IS enough food in the world today for everyone to get the nourishment they need for a healthy and productive life. Hunger is a solvable problem. It's something we can do something about, and make a huge impact in a very simple way.
What if all you had to do to make a change in the lives of the people living in your city was RUN? This fall, that's exactly what Women's Health and WalkJogRun is asking you to do.
Run a 10K with Women's Health and you will instantly provide 10 meals for those going hungry in your local and surrounding neighborhoods. You can join them in New York City or take part in their 10 City Challenge. If you don't live in one of those cities – you can still participate! Sign up to run your own 10K. The money from your registration and fundraising efforts will go to those in the metropolitan areas nearest to you.
