Week in Review: Boston Marathon expo snapshots and inspirational runners galore


The energy in Boston is palpable. Copley Square is closed off to traffic, allowing marathoners and their families to pose for pictures at the freshly painted 2013 Boston Marathon finish line. Runners in the official blue and yellow jackets scurry around the city with their bright yellow Adidas bags — badges of honor that let everyone know they are are running the Boston Marathon. After months of training, through a relatively hellish winter, the moment is officially less than 24 hours.
